Together they talk about the novel, the Academy Award-winning movie, and Kesey's role as leader of the Merry Pranksters and the star of the West Coast psychedelic scene. Producer Saul Zaentz, director Milos Forman, and Louise Fletcher (Nurse Ratched) describe the making of the movie. The influence of Cuckoo's Nest on mental hospital reform is also considered"--Container.
